Attention, students of WUNU Faculty of Computer Information Technologies!
In November 2018, the Cisco Networking Academy was opened at the Department of Cyber Security of West Ukrainian National University. In the two years of its activity, the academy has trained more than 50 certified specialists in the field of information technologies.
It should be noted that all graduates of the academy study at the Faculty of Computer Information Technologies of WUNU. As a result of training, graduates receive not only certificates, but also a profile registered in the database of the academy, which allows employers of global IT companies to search for potential certified professionals among our students.
As of today, four teachers of FCIT are qualified as instructors of the academy. Students of the Faculty of Computer Information Technology have the opportunity to study a number of courses at Cisco Network Academy in the areas of network technology, cybersecurity, Internet of Things, programming (C ++, Python), operating systems, and access to licensed Packet Tracer software.
Courses such as Cybersecurity Essentials, IoT Fundamentals: Connecting Things, IoT Fundamentals: IoT Security, CCNAv7: Introduction to Networks, CCNA Cybersecurity Operations, are integrated into the curriculum for bachelors majoring in Cybersecurity. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive Cisco Networking Academy certificates.
This year, the Cisco Network Academy at West Ukrainian National University received an award for active work during 2020.
