Participants of the II International School of World Educational Practices "New Way" have the opportunity to learn about new trends of mediation in Latvia
The II International School of World Educational Practices "New Way" is well underway at WUNU Faculty of Humanities ans Social Sciences. Its 4th class will be held on Mrach 24 at 13:00. Speaker - Viktorija Portere, lawyer, certified mediator, lecturer at the Baltic International Academy and the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, member of the Latvian Mediation Council.
The meeting will focus on:
development stages of mediation in Latvia, Riga International Arbitration Court as a private institution that resolves civil disputes within its competence;
advantages of RAC over a formal court;
Court-Annexed Mediation;
certification and attestation of mediators;
Mediation days in Latvia.
The project is implemented jointly with Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and is open to students from Ukraine, Georgia and Latvia.
