The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Ukraine visited the Classical University of Ternopil!
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Ukraine István Íjgyártó paid a working visit to West Ukrainian National University. Mr. Ambassador joined the round table on "Ukraine and the Visegrad Four countries: cooperation in education, science and culture".
The event was attended by: First Vice-Rector Mykola Shynkaryk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Research (International Relations) Oksana Desyatnyuk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Research (Innovative Development and Information Activity) Kazymyr Voznyi, Honorary Consul of Hungary in Ukraine Tetiana Chubak, Ukrainian diplomat, Director of the Center for Oriental Studies of WUNU Mykola Movchan, Director of B. Havrylyshyn ERIIR Iryna Ivashchuk, Head of the International Office Uliana Koruts, Head of the Department of International Economic Relations Roman Zvarych, Acting Head of the Department of International Economics Iryna Zvarych, Professor of S.I. Yuriy Department of Finance Oksana Tulai.
Oksana Desyatnyuk spoke about the interaction with partner universities of the Visegrad Four countries, new vectors of cooperation between WUNU and higher education institutions of Hungary.
The honored Mr. Ambassador remarked, "It is a great honor for me to be in an educational institution that dedicates its activities to science, research and the search for new knowledge. I am very glad that due to the growth of the range of specialties and industries, your university is also changing."
Mykola Movchan added, “West Ukrainian National University has a unique location, so we are actively developing scientific, educational and cultural activities with various countries, including Hungary. Collaboration, internships and science unite us. I am confident that with your support we will implement new projects and achieve our goals."
