The rector participated in the International Conference
Rector of West Ukrainian National University Andriy Krysovatyy took part in the International Conference "International Cooperation in Solving the Problem of Social and Professional Adaptation of Servicemen, Veterans and Members of Their Families in Ukraine", which started in Kyiv on May 11.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, the International Foundation for Social Adaptation with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway. They made great efforts to enable participants to share experiences and discuss issues of social and professional adaptation of servicemen, veterans and their families, as well as to expand international cooperation.
The total number of attendees surpassed 200 people. It is nice to note that 100 people joined the event in person, while other representatives of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Ukraine, International Foundation for Social Adaptation, Nord University (Norway), embassies of foreign countries, and international organizations joined remotely.
The rector of the Classical University of Ternopil Andriy Krysovatyy made a report, outlining the role of universities in the professional and social adaptation of servicemen, veterans and members of their families in Ukraine.
The first day of the International Conference ended with fruitful discussions, interesting meetings and plans for the future.
