Rector of the Classical University of Ternopil Andriy Krysovatyy paid a working visit to Marmara University (Istanbul), one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher education in Turkey for 124 years. More than 80,000 students study at the university, including foreigners from 130 countries.

In the course of the visit, a cooperation agreement was signed between West Ukrainian National University and the University of Marmara. The parties agreed on joint implementation of projects, educational activities, exchange of students and teachers, as well as promotion of the Ukrainian and Turkish languages.

Rector Andriy Krysovatyy noted: “Today we are discovering new frontiers of international cooperation, and I am extremely pleased that together with our colleagues at the University of Marmara we are confidently overcoming all the challenges of today. This shows that it is important for us to strengthen, expand and improve the educational methods, introduce, implement and create innovative platforms for our students. I am convinced that possibilities are endless, because with common ideas, values and bold measures we will achieve the desired results!”

"Intercultural integration, establishing educational, scientific and communication foundations will contribute to the successful operation of our higher education institutions," said Rector Mustafa Kurt.
