International seminar "Tips on writing and publishing economic papers"
Within the framework of international cooperation of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of West Ukrainian National University, a seminar on the methods of writing and publishing economic research in US journals was held on November 10.
Speaker - Dr. Alex Lebedinsky, Professor of Economics, Department Chair, Gordon Ford Collage of Business, Western Kentucky University, USA; moderator - Nataliia Melnyk, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Accounting and Taxation.
The teachers of the Classical University of Ternopil, as well as undergraduate and graduate students studying at the Department of Accounting and Taxation and in educational programme International Accounting from Ukraine, India, Iran, Rwanda, and China joined the seminar.
During the meeting, the professor spoke in detail about the structure, requirements and content of articles submitted for publication in US publications, features and methodology of research, selection and processing of literature and data, drawing conclusions based on the results of the study. Students also had the opportunity to get acquainted with tips on finding appropriate journals based on their rating, duration of review and review procedures. The attendees received answers to questions, advice, recommendations and links to useful resources that can be used in research.
