Round table "Accounting and Taxation in the 21st Century: A New Generation of Professionals"
Recently, West Ukrainian National University hosted a round table "Accounting and Taxation in the 21st Century: A New Generation of Professionals". Organizer - Department of Accounting and Taxation of the Classical University of Ternopil. The aim - discussion of modern aspects of accounting, taxation, reporting and the accounting profession in different countries. The event was joined by scientists, teachers and youth from Ukraine, India, China, Iran, Ghana and Rwanda.
Under the guidance of Nataliia Melnyk (Ph.D., Associate Professor), students majoring in "International Accounting" prepared and presented some fascinating reports: Mansi Arora - "Accounting and Taxation in India"; Sara Mohammadi - "Organization of Accounting and Taxation in Iran", Daisy Dela Abena Annan-Ahortor - "Accounting System in Ghana", Oleh Pysaniuk - "Outsourcing and Freelancing in Accounting".
The participants got acquainted with the issues of accounting and taxation in India, Iran and Ghana, requirements for company reporting and application of international financial reporting standards, features and relevance of the accounting profession.
Several Ukrainian professors also participated, including Nataliia Pochynok (Head of WUNU Department of Accounting and Taxation, Ph.D., Associate Professor), Yaroslav Krupka (WUNU Department of Accounting and Taxation, Ph.D., Professor), Tetiana Hohol (Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Department of Accounting, Taxation and Audit, Ph.D., Professor) and Tetiana Klymenko(Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Department of Accounting, Taxation and Audit, Ph.D., Associate Professor).
