WUNU received the Teaching Excellence Award
West Ukrainian National University received the Teaching Excellence Award from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) at the second virtual CIMA Excellence Awards on December 10, 2021. This award is given to a university lecturer who has demonstrated excellent interaction with students and effectively shared their knowledge. This year the award went to Nataliia Melnyk, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting and Taxation.
The annual CIMA Excellence Awards, sponsored by the global accounting organization representing CIMA and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), celebrate institutions and individuals around the world who work hard to create a new generation of highly-qualified accountants and shape the future of the accounting profession.
This year, more than 400 nominations from educational institutions and individuals were submitted in four categories: CIMA Teaching Excellence Award, CIMA Research Excellence Award, CIMA Campus Culture Excellence Award and CIMA Employability Excellence Award. In addition, the Awards Committee selected the winners for the CIMA Prize-Winner Excellence Award, CIMA Global Excellence Award and CGMA Campus of the Year Award based on the results of the CIMA exams in 2020 and 2021.
