Meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Tunisia
Students of the educational programmes "International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies" and "Eastern Studies" continue to acquire practical skills in the diplomatic field. Under the pilot project "International Relations Mentoring School" of B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations (implemented with the support of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Senegal in Ternopil), WUNU students met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Tunisia Volodymyr Khomants.
The students got acquainted with the negotiation process on the conclusion of a free trade agreement between Tunisia and Ukraine. Tunisia seeks to diversify the geography of its foreign economic activity and considers Ukraine a reliable strategic partner.
The diplomat also spoke about the Crimean Platform, which today is the main foreign policy tool for consolidating international efforts aimed at deoccupation and restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity.
