We bow our heads in sorrow...
The classical university of Ternopil has received heartbreaking news. While defending his native land, Yurii Tykholiz, a 2012 graduate of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing of WUNU, died heroically in the battles in Kyiv region.
Yurii was born on January 1, 1990 in the village of Darakhiv, in the Terebovlia region. In 2017, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces. Since then he worked at the military enlistment office in Terebovlia, and in February 2022 he went to the front as part of the 14th Brigade.
From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, Yurii defended Ukraine from the enemy - drove back the invaders in the Kyiv region.
The soldier is survived by his parents, wife and two small children. In their hearts he will always be a loving son, a good husband and a caring father, for Ukraine - an indomitable patriot.
We mourn and bow our heads in deep sorrow!
