WUNU received a Starlink terminal!
Today it is very important to maintain communication and have access to the Internet. The war forced the world to unite and seek new alternative channels. Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, many towns and villages were left without communications, which can sometimes make a difference between saving or losing hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians.
“The staff of West Ukrainian National University has received a Starlink satellite Internet terminal. With Starlink, we will be able to connect and improve communication in places where there may be a problem with the Internet. Starlink is the most stable and least vulnerable Internet network. It is impossible to block it, as well as to intercept the channel and get information. We would like to thank the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University for their support and assistance in obtaining Starlink equipment,” said Andriy Krysovatyy, Rector of the classical university of Ternopil.
The US government has financed and delivered 5,000 Starlink Internet terminals from Elon Musk to Ukraine.
