WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 At the end of February, students, future negotiators, were scheduled to undertake an international internship at the Netherlands Business Academy. The program included a trip to Dordrecht, training at the III International Summer School of World Educational Practices "New Way" in Batumi, a large-scale international conference and presentation of a new educational programme "Psychology of Negotiation and Mediation".

But it wasn't meant to be because of the new Before and After for Ukraine. Because a terrible war has begun. Because each of us, teachers and students, is still trying to help both the military on the front lines and all Ukrainians in need in the hot spots and displaced persons.

In spite of everything, we must be resilient, work at full strength, learn to be as productive as possible in the conditions of war, hold the educational front without forsaking volunteering! So, on May 15, a new project “Mediation. Basic course" wasa opened for students of group PSPm-11, specialty 053 "Psychology", WUNU Education and Research Institute of Communications.

Future negotiators and mediators will master the non-violent culture of dialogue together with the Rector of the Netherlands Business Academy, President of the International Mediation Association, practicing mediator, coach, Professor Jan van Zwieten.

The first lecture went by in a blink of an eye! Extremely interesting and accessible presentation of the material, group work, charismatic lecturer, motivated and smart students - all this leads to a productive experience of studying the best European peacekeeping practices in the mediation system.
