Modern ultrasound machine from WUNU's American partners
Specialists of the Ternopil Regional Children's Clinical Hospital will now be able to perform ultrasound examinations faster thanks to modern portable equipment. The new ultrasound machine was delivered to the local hospital by volunteer doctors from the United States - representatives of the American humanitarian organization "August Mission", who arrived at the invitation of WUNU Rector Andriy Krysovatyy.
Such equipment provides the most accurate diagnosis, especially in newborns and young children. The device is very easy to use.
Many thanks from the management of the hospital and the administration of WUNU to the American delegation consisting of Reese Roberts - Chief of Staff "August Mission", Daniel Smith - MD, pediatrician, organizer of the transfer of ultrasound, Aaron Wood - CEO, Kent Chapman - Assistant Physician and Keith Christensen, an ambulance technician.
This is not the first "August Mission" visit to Ternopil. American volunteers and doctors promise long-term cooperation with West Ukrainian National University, aimed at humanitarian aid of medicines and medical equipment to the city's hospitals.
