Meetings with practising experts
Olena Laiko shared her experience of professional growth: from the host of "Radio-Ton", "Radio Ternopil" to work in the Galician Municipal Chamber Orchestra, with students of the Department of Information and Socio-Cultural Activities of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of West Ukrainian National University.
Among the tips for future journalists:
- raise the intellectual level (prepare for broadcasts, read as much as possible, communicate);
- be able to concisely, easily, correctly and accurately build statements;
- practice, learn from specialists, listen and hear advice;
- it is important to know your niche and find it over time;
- love and understand what you do, and do it well.
They also talked about the information and music policy of radio stations, its impact on listeners, especially the younger generation, about world standards in this area, about the reassessment of values in modern conditions.
