International Scientific and Practical Conference "Transformational Processes of the Social and Humanitarian Sphere of Modern Ukraine in the Conditions of War: Challenges, Problems and Prospects"
The International Scientific and Practical Conference "Transformational Processes of the Social and Humanitarian Sphere of Modern Ukraine in the Conditions of War: Challenges, Problems and Prospects" organized by the staff of the Social and Humanitarian Faculty started today at West Ukrainian National University.
Oksana Desyatnyuk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Research (International Relations) made a welcoming speech. Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Oksana Homotiuk also addressed fellow scientists.
It is gratifying that the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of ЦUNU organizes scientific events on current topics together with colleagues from Ukraine and abroad: Ukrainian Scientific-Methodological Center for Practical Psychology and Social Work of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, Catholic University in Ružomberok (Slovakia), Higher School of Management and Administration in Opole (Poland), Ukrainian-American Association of Higher Education Workers (USA), International Scientific Society in Dortmund (Germany).
Scientists from 50 higher education institutions from different parts of Ukraine and the world joined the meeting.
Researchers will work in the following thematic areas:
- instilling values of peace and non-violence in future specialists;
- preparation of students for life in extreme conditions and crisis situations;
- social and psychological centers for assistance in wartime;
- psychological work of the education system under martial law: features and principles;
- historical and socio-cultural dimensions of Ukrainian scientific discourse in today's conditions;
- diplomatic front: challenges, opportunities, successes.
This meeting is a discussion platform for the exchange of scientific views on solving current problems in the socio-humanitarian sphere and the challenges of today.
