Together to victory!
For the 176th day in a row, brave Ukrainians continue to fight against the aggressor, who launched a full-scale attack on the territory of our state on February 24. Every day, the community of the classical university of Ternopil unites to bring Ukraine's victory over the enemy closer.
Today we had the honor to meet with the military, who presented the team of West Ukrainian National University with an award for the care and assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the volunteer activity that the academic staff, employees and students have been carrying out since the beginning of the war. Additionally, the dean of the Faculty of Computer Information Technologies of WUNU Mykola Dyvak and the head of the Department of Computer Sciences Andrii Pukas were acknowledged personally for their efforts.
Mykola Shynkaryk, the first vice-rector of WUNU, addressed the audience: "We are grateful to all the heroes of Ukraine, who are steadfast and stand firm, protecting the integrity of our country. May courage and bravery, strength of spirit help them overcome all difficulties."
Each doing their part, we defend our Ukraine, because this is our land, and we will not retreat!
