International Week: Day 3
The fourth International Week at West Ukrainian National University continues.
The third day of I-WEEK began with an online meeting of scientists of the Faculty of Computer Information Technologies with partners regarding the organization of the International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies. Mykola Dyvak, dean of FCIT, co-chairman of the ACIT International Conference, noted: "We are working on the development of international relations in order to create new opportunities for the university's youth. We are launching joint scientific projects with partner universities in the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany and Slovakia, strengthening cooperation and adopting the experience of leading European educational institutions."
Within the framework of the International Discussion Club, Professor of Delhi University (India) Dr. Pushpender Kumar held a developing lecture on rethinking the principles of international marketing. The scientist noted that this direction of research is relevant due to the modern intensification of global competition, the emergence of new forms of international relations and market integration, and demonstrated cross-cultural features of the communicative behavior of consumers.
The presentation "International transfer of project activity: innovation, nature use and infrastructure" was extremely interesting. Participants shared their experience of implementing projects in the field of energy security, environmental policy, agrarian nature use, climate change, transport technologies, geodesy, strengthening physical health, smart specialization and innovative development of regions. Partners from WSB University (Republic of Poland), University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (Republic of Poland), Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (Georgia), Center for Advanced Training of Water Management Workers of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, National Aviation University (Kyiv, Ukraine) presented their project activity. As a result of the discussions, scientists of the Education and Research Institute of Innovation, Nature Management and Infrastructure developed an algorithm for preparing project applications for participation in international grant programmes in the consortium. The master's programme "Business analytics and management of innovative systems" was presented.
