All-Ukrainian educational forum "New Dimensions of Security: Challenges and Solutions"
Today, the two-day All-Ukrainian educational forum "New Dimensions of Security: Challenges and Solutions" continued at West Ukrainian National University. Rectors of higher education institutions and scientists from different parts of Ukraine met at the classical university of Ternopil.
The forum began with a moment of silence. Among the defenders who gave their lives in the fight against the enemy, unfortunately, there are also scientists, teachers, educational workers, graduates and students of universities of our state.
The Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Serhiy Shkarlet, started the work of the forum. Then, Serhii Nadal, the mayor of Ternopil, was invited to speak, as was the rector of West Ukrainian National University Andriy Krysovatyy. Oleg Sharov, Director General of the Directorate of Professional Pre-Higher and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine invited the participants to the first panel discussion of the forum. Oleksandr Pyzhov, Director General of the Directorate of European Integration, Budgeting and Policy Coordination of the Ministry of Education and Science, moderated the second panel discussion "Introduction of European integration into the security education and scientific research".
During the conversation, the participants discussed the further safety of educational processes in universities, psychological support of students, and identified the main priorities of education today.
Also, during his stay at WUNU, Serhiy Shkarlet talked with young students and discussed plans for the future and peculiarities of the educational process during the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine and congratulated the youth on International Student Day.
Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet, Ternopil Mayor Serhiy Nadal, Rector of West Ukrainian National University Andriy Krysovatyy together with students planted a hibiscus - a tree that symbolizes stability and prosperity. Ukraine persists. Ukraine will win. Ukraine will flourish!
