Cooperation in the field of health economics
Today, an online meeting was held at Ternopil's classical university with Christian Thielscher, a partner from Germany in the field of medical economics.
Professor Christian Thielscher is a practicing physician, an experienced businessman and economist. He studied medicine for many years and received his doctorate in Bonn. Since 2010, he heads the Competence Center for Medical Economics at the FOM University of Applied Sciences in Essen, Germany.
During the meeting, the rector of West Ukrainian National University, Andriy Krysovatyy, emphasized the importance of training specialists in healthcare economics, training doctors and heads of medical facilities, as well as cooperation with economic universities in Europe.
Yevhen Savelyev, the cooperation coordinator - professor of the Department of International Economics, joined the conversation. The parties talked about the development of electronic medical records that are publicly available, establishing communication with employees in the field of pharmaceuticals, and agreed on further steps of the partnership.
