Dual education of students continues
Students of the S.I. Yuriy Department of Finance met with specialists from the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Ternopil Oblast.
Vitaliy Tolubiak, Deputy Head of the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Ternopil Oblast, Oleksandr Tomchuk, Head of the Information Systems and Electronic Registers Department, and Halyna Soika, Deputy Head of the Legal Department and Head of the Legal Work Organization Department, told the students about the activities of the Department and the specifics of the functioning of individual structural units.
Vitaliy Tolubiak provided general information on the purpose of the Pension Fund, areas of activity and functional responsibilities of employees. The young people were particularly interested in the measures to protect branched information systems and electronic registries, which Oleksandr Tomchuk described. Halyna Soika discussed in detail certain aspects of legal support of the Pension Fund's activities.
The information on the specifics of applying for a pension and calculating its amount was useful. Such meetings with practitioners are informative and educational, shaping students' vision of their future professional activities and enriching them with new knowledge.
