New vectors of international cooperation

 Mihai Gruber, Secretary for Culture and Education at the Embassy of Hungary in Ukraine, and Tetiana Chubak, Honorary Consul of Hungary in Ternopil, paid a working visit to West Ukrainian National University.


The meeting was attended by WUNU Rector Andriy Krysovatyy, Vice-Rector for International Relations Oksana Desyatnyuk, Director of B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations Iryna Ivashchuk, Professor of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy Natalia Kravchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations Larysa Verhun, Head of the Department of Transport and Logistics Pavlo Popovych, Associate Professor of the Department of Transport and Logistics Oksana Shevchuk, and Associate Professor of the Department of Transport and Logistics Natalia Falovych.


The guests discussed the vectors of cooperation: organization of events in the cultural, educational and humanitarian spheres, student exchanges and establishment of inter-university relations. In particular, they focused on practice-oriented online lectures for students of the Institute from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Interested students of West Ukrainian University will be able to join Hungarian and European courses, aimed at studying the theoretical foundations of European civilization and integration processes, and developing intercultural and strategic communication skills.


Mr. Secretary presented books for the library of B. Havrylyshyn Institute from the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Very soon, a thematic classroom "Diplomatic Residence of Hungary" will be opened at WUNU. The Honorary Consul of Hungary in Ternopil presented the staff of the University with an icon of St. Tatiana.


Tetiana Chubak has cooperated with West Ukrainian National University in culture and diplomacy for many years, joining and implementing interesting projects for young people at Havrylyshyn Institute. With her assistance, students have the opportunity to do internships at the consulate and gain valuable experience from international experts.
