New achievements of WUNU athletes!
Recently, the latest stage of the Open International Sambo Tournament among youth and adults took place in Larnaca (Cyprus). The competition gathered representatives of 14 countries. Students of West Ukrainian National University successfully performed at the tournament.
Diana Lutsiak, a student of the WUNU College of Economics, Law and Information Techonologies, won the gold medal among athletes under 18.
Among adults, Snizhana Plish (FSSH) won gold in under-54 kg and Halyna Kovalska did the same in under-80 kg categories. Maria Kunevych (FSSH) won silver in the weight category under 59 kg. Diana Lutsiak won bronze in the weight category under 80 kg.
