New milestones in cooperation with Arizona State University
A working meeting was held between representatives of the Education and Research Institute of Communications of West Ukrainian National University and Arizona State University (USA).
The meeting included Oksana Koval, Director of the Education and Research Institute of Communications at WUNU; John Wharton, Affiliate Faculty Member of the Center for Resilient and Sustainable Communities at George Mason University; Director General of the Center for Global Communications; Sandra Day O'Connor, Associate Dean for International Engagement at the University of Arizona College of Law; Diane Bowman, Professor of the Arizona State University's School of Future Innovations in Society; and Anastasia Martynevych, coordinator of ERIC's international activity.
Arizona State University is the largest public university by student enrollment in the United States, with campuses located in several cities in Arizona, and one of the largest research centers on the West Coast. Among the university's famous alumni are two Nobel Prize winners, three members of the Royal Society for the Advancement of Natural History, twenty-seven members of the US National Academy of Sciences, and six Pulitzer Prize winners. It is the nation's largest pioneering school, where students and faculty work with NASA to develop, advance, and launch innovations into space.
The parties discussed the prospects for further cooperation, opportunities for participation in grant projects, creation of a joint platform for educational and scientific development, partnership between the Negotiation Psychology and Mediation programs of West Ukrainian National University and the Negotiation Professional Skills Program of Arizona State University, and academic mobility programs for students and teachers.
