Students of FSSH took part in a two-day intensive course at the X Regional School of Journalism
As part of the X Regional School of Journalism, students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of West Ukrainian National University took part in a two-day intensive training series on "How to produce quality television and online news in times of war."
During the first lesson, they discussed the standards of information journalism and the specifics of their application in wartime.
The trainers - Ihor Kulias and Oleksandr Makarenko - have been working as media trainers, media consultants and crisis managers for broadcasters since 2002. During this time, as start-up managers, they have jointly conducted 12 launches of news services, more than 50 corporate consultations, 13 intensive schools for training reporters and editors for news services, and more than 600 trainings on various components of news journalism. Since 2014, they have been working as consultant trainers with the Public Broadcasting Company (UA:PBC).
