WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 The 10th Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Topical Issues of Financial Theory and Practice" of the S.I. Yuriy Department of Finance of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of West Ukrainian National University has commenced in Ternopil.

The conference has gathered representatives of the student and faculty community from Vinnytsia Education and Research Institute of Economics of WUNU, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, Odesa National University, Vyacheslav Chornovil Galician College, and Kamianets-Podilskyi State Institute of Higher Education.

Rector Andriy Krysovatyy welcomed the participants and all those present and said: "In times of full-scale war, in times of great challenge for Ukraine and every Ukrainian, we must be strong and do everything we can. I am confident that the professional discussion and exchange of views will give a new impetus to the further development of financial theory and practice, and new interesting ideas and developments will emerge. Let's think ahead, unite for a common goal, believe in our strength and God's protection. I wish you all a constructive and fruitful dialog to resolve pressing issues!"

During the event, lecturers and students discussed important issues related to the development of the main directions of the state's financial policy, reforming the components of the financial mechanism, and improving the financial management system at the micro, meso, and macro levels.

A collection of proceedings will be published based on the results of the conference.

During the scientific conference, the winners of the All-Ukrainian Financial Literacy Tournament FinCup-2022, participants and organizers of the Global Money Week-2023 events at West Ukrainian National University were awarded with certificates and letters of appreciation. The plenary session featured nine reports on various problematic areas of financial theory and practice development.
