Meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko
As part of the Diplomacy and International Cooperation project, on April 28 at 9:15 a.m., students majoring in International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies will meet with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko.
During the meeting, we will discuss the key areas of Australia's support for Ukraine in the context of the Russian invasion, the introduction of sanctions against Russia and the provision of military, humanitarian and energy aid to Ukraine; we will also review the historical aspects of the development of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Australia, the specifics of the work of the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia and the priority areas of trade and economic cooperation.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the support for Ukrainian refugees in Australia, the political activities of the Ukrainian community in Australia and its role in ensuring Ukraine's victory.
The project "Diplomacy and International Cooperation" is being implemented within the framework of the International Sustainable Development Studio at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the B. Havrylyshyn Institute of International Relations of West Ukrainian National University.
