WUNU team placed 3rd in the International Cooperation in Research and Innovation bootcamp among the leading Ukrainian universities!
Recently, the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" hosted the event "International Cooperation in Research and Innovation" in Kyiv, which was attended by the team of West Ukrainian National University - students majoring in International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies: Volodymyr Sidiaha, group MVSKm-11, Anastasia Onyskiv, group MVSK-21, Marta Maiba, group MVSK-21, Anastasia Kryva, group MVSK-11, Ivanna Svystun, group MVSK-11.
The International Cooperation in Research and Innovation bootcamp is supported by a grant from the Swedish Institute as part of the project "Resilience of Education: Sustainability and Cooperation for Ukrainian Universities" (RESCUU).
The youth worked on a project that aimed to improve the capacity and competencies of universities, in cooperation with non-governmental organizations, to work with young men and women who were affected by the war and forced to move to a new place or country by developing an inclusive curriculum and creating centers of inclusive innovation at partner universities that take into account their diverse learning needs.
The project included the creation of a safe space, language programs, support, and professional training opportunities.
According to the results of the international jury's evaluation, WUNU team took 3rd place among higher education institutions.
