School of Leadership 2023
Recently, twenty-two enterprising, creative, motivated, and energetic young men and women from the campus of West Ukrainian National University went to the School of Leadership 2023.
They actively participated in the project because they wanted to prove themselves as leaders, demonstrate their skills, and improve their soft skills.
The school's trainers were Olena Vasylkiv, Head of the Information and Public Relations Office, and the department's specialists: Uliana Tanavska, Oleksandr Rybak, Anastasia Guzhvinska, Serhii Kozlovskyi, Oleksandr Kravchuk and Kateryna Bozhakivska.
For three days, young people studied the peculiarities of leadership behavior, teamwork, discussed the realization of ambitions and achievement of desired goals, took part in the hackathon "WUNU Campus: Problems, Development Strategies", trainings "Team from A to Z", "Who am I? ", "Business card", "From idea to realization: I want, I can, I know how", "How to work with social networks", painted pictures, played sports, communicated, actively debated and made further plans for the development of the WUNU campus.
The evenings at the School of Leadership ended with sing-alongs, where young people performed patriotic Ukrainian songs.
The project "Lyra. Reloaded" where young people had the opportunity to showcase their talents, acting skills, and cohesion was an impressive event. Two teams competed with each other, improvised, and inspired all the spectators with their energy.
The students were also asked to develop and present a project that could be implemented on the WUNU campus. The prize fund is 20 thousand hryvnias. The activists voiced the advantages, disadvantages, and risks, determining the budget and prospects of the proposal. The participants of the school presented the project "StudQR", the idea of which is that students, applicants, and guests of the campus will be able to quickly navigate the territory of the higher education institution and find the necessary information using a QR code.
"The vision of our project is to find your own way, and the goal is to simplify, guide, inform, digitalize, and make it unique. We need to weigh all the pros and cons, but we are convinced that our project will be useful to many," said Liubov Sharak, chair of the campus student council.
At the end of the School, the participants were awarded with diplomas, certificates and goodies from the Rector of West Ukrainian National University, Andriy Krysovatyy.
