New milestones in the cooperation between the ERI of Communications of WUNU and the School of Business and Social Sciences of Aarhus University
Promising areas for the development of the negotiation field require a high-quality research foundation. Joining forces with foreign scholars will be extremely interesting and effective in this context.
Recently, Oksana Koval, Director of the Education and Research Institute of Communications of West Ukrainian National University, met with Dr. Adam Gordon, a researcher at the Strategic Foresight Research Network at the Business and Social Sciences School of Aarhus University.
Prof. Gordon already has experience of cooperation with Ukraine in a joint project between the Aarhus University and the Lviv Business School of the Ukrainian Catholic University. Together with the founding dean of UCU's Business School, Sofia Opatska, Professor Gordon conducted a study to examine the preparedness of Ukrainian companies to overcome the devastating effects of the war, i.e., how well-versed their boards of directors and top managers were in emergency planning and how they acted in critical situations.
Today, Professor Gordon is also engaged in the study of international negotiations. During the conversation, the parties discussed a number of issues related to the organization of joint research projects and prospects for further cooperation. The results of the agreements make it possible to lay the foundation for future cooperation between educational institutions.
