Bukovel academic spring school BASS-2023
The international program of the BASS-2023 "Building Resilience of Economic, Legal and Educational Systems in the Context of Social Crises" has been completed.
The event was attended by Rector of West Ukrainian National University Andriy Krysovatyy, Vice-Rector for International Relations Oksana Desyatnyuk, Rector of the Netherlands Business Academy Jan van Zwieten, Vice-President of the Ukrainian-American Association of College Educators (USA, Florida) Elena Seitz, and President of the European Economic Chamber Eurochambres Kristoff Leitl.
The participants included entrepreneurs, scientists, and representatives of Cherkasy State Technological University, Vernadsky Taurida National University, Vyacheslav Chornovil Galician College, Odesa National University of Economics, Vinnytsia Finance and Economics University, Sumy Regional Institute of Postgraduate Education, Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences, Kyiv National Economic University and others.
Attendees worked fruitfully for 5 days: they discussed and presented reports, improved their intercultural communication skills, and learned from the experience of scientists from leading universities in Austria, Germany, and Ukraine.
They discussed various topics, including the post-war recovery of Ukraine, the strategy for the reconstruction and development of our country, academic mobility programs, challenges facing education under martial law, modern pedagogical programs and opportunities used in European countries that can be adapted to Ukrainian realities, the paradigm of Ukrainian education, and legal solutions to prevent and overcome social crises.
Participants of the BASS-2023 considered leading global concepts, models and tools for ensuring the sustainability of socio-economic, legal and educational systems in the context of social crises, met international experts in the field of economics, law, education and diplomacy, combined effective learning with psychological relief in the picturesque Carpathian landscapes.
Participants from Ukrainian higher education institutions received certificates of international internship.
