Ukrainian-Japanese project
The Ukrainian-Japanese project brings students together and provides them with a unique opportunity to improve their German language skills.
This intercultural communication project is being implemented through the cooperation of students majoring in Business Communications and Translation at the Bohdan Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations of WUNU and students of Kyoto Sangyo University in Japan.
The instructors are Carsten Waychert, a lecturer of German at Kyoto Sangyo University, and Olga Tsaryk, a professor at the Department of Foreign Languages and Information and Communication Technologies at West Ukrainian National University.
The project involves meetings between students from both countries, where they communicate with each other in German, share their cultural backgrounds and traditions, deepen their knowledge of the countries, practice the language in real-life situations, and develop communication skills.
Intercultural communication encourages openness, understanding and respect for other cultures.
We are proud of our students who are participating in this project!
