Cooperation with Slovak scientists
Oksana Desyatnyuk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Research of WUNU, held a working meeting with the First Vice-Rector of the University of Presov, Professor Gabriel Pal'a, and Yuri Popovych, Associate Professor of the Greek Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Presov.
During the meeting, the colleagues discussed areas of cooperation between higher education institutions, organization of conferences and symposia, and focused on the implementation of joint projects and international research.
Speaking about the prospects for cooperation, prof. Desyatnyuk said: "It is important to interact with universities from different countries, because it helps to search for new ideas, improve the quality of education, and exchange multidimensional experiences that affect the improvement of the competencies of teachers, students, and graduates."
"I am convinced that by uniting academic communities, we will implement projects that will benefit not only students but also the society of our countries. I am pleased that today we have the opportunity to work with the staff of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of West Ukrainian National University," said Gabriel Pal'a.
Oksana Homotiuk, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of WUNU, added: "This cooperation is a unique opportunity for our university. I believe that together we will strengthen our position at the national level in the educational and scientific fields."
