Congratulations to the graduates of the School of Polish and European Law!
A comprehensive final exam was recently held at the School of Polish and European Law, a joint project of West Ukrainian National University and the Jagiellonian University.
Throughout 2022-2023, the students had the opportunity to learn Polish legal language (terminology), participate in lectures and practical classes in various fields of Polish and European law.
Topics included Polish and EU contract law, the impact of European law on Polish civil law, bankruptcy law, emergency proceedings in the Supreme Court in Polish civil procedure, Polish tax law, the functioning of the judiciary and the Bar in Poland, constitutional justice, inheritance law in Poland and the EU, European private law, Polish criminal law, the case law of the EU Court of Justice in the field of copyright, and Polish administrative procedure law.
This year's School program was taught by professors of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University, Warsaw University, Wroclaw University, University of Osnabrück, practicing lawyers, mediators, judges of the Supreme Court of Poland, the Constitutional Court of Poland and the Supreme Administrative Court of Poland.
Based on the results of the exam, all students who pass it will receive a diploma, and the best graduates will receive a scholarship and the opportunity to undergo internships at Polish bar associations and participate in the Warsaw Summer School.
