WUNU student became a bronze medalist of the European U20 Basketball Championship

On July 7, the U20 European Basketball Championship in Division B started in Skopje (North Macedonia).
After a group round with Georgia, Sweden, Azerbaijan, and Kosovo, the Ukrainian youth team reached the playoffs, where they faced the Dutch national team and won. In the semifinals, our guys played Northern Macedonia to continue their fight for promotion.
Vitalii Shymanskyi, a student majoring in Physical Education and Sports at West Ukrainian National University, became a bronze medalist of the European U20 Basketball Championship.
