First immersive multifunctional hub in Ukraine to be launched at WUNU
A working meeting on the implementation of the first immersive multifunctional hub in Ukraine was held at West Ukrainian National University.
Ihor Romanets, Director of the IT Education and Research Centre, Nazar Ivanitskyi, Head of the Digital Transformation Division, Diana Krysak and Rostyslav Kryvko, employees of the Digital Transformation Division, and representatives of Cisco Systems discussed the work strategies, prospects, and benefits of implementing the project at the university.
An immersive multifunctional hub is a space where students, teachers, and employees will have free access to innovative and digital technologies. The purpose of the multifunctional space is to organise various events, as it will host educational activities in the field of innovation. Special attention will also be paid to the development of scientific activities with due regard to inclusive needs.
This initiative is being implemented by the NGO "Educational and Analytical Centre for Community Development" with the support of the Ternopil Regional State Administration, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Cisco Systems and the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine.
