WUNU students are finalists of the Startups and Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development bootcamp
Students of West Ukrainian National University took part in the Startups and Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development bootcamp and joined the XII International Festival of Innovative Projects Sikorsky Challenge 2023, which was held at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".
WUNU was represented at the bootcamp by: Volodymyr Sidiaha, Liliia Krysovata, Uliana Tanavska, Anastasiia Kryva, Anna Stasiuk, and Kateryna Bozhakivska. They presented the IMPACT project, which aims to combat disinformation. By combining technology and expert analysis, IMPACT offers a platform for monitoring disinformation, providing individuals and organisations with access to truthful information. Sustainability will be ensured through paid subscriptions, comprehensive analytics, and international partnerships, underlining the project's global importance. IMPACT will take care of the integrity of information and build the resilience of society to the challenges in the modern world.
According to the results of the work, our team won 3rd place among the leading higher education institutions.
The programme of the bootcamp was extremely rich: expert presentations, workshops and tutorials, pitch presentations of startup projects, panel discussions and the presentation of the Sikorsky Challenge Immersive virtual exhibition.
