WUNU student interned at a law firm in Ireland
Viktoria Barvinska, a 2nd year student of the Law Faculty of West Ukrainian National University, completed a week-long internship at LAVELLE PARTNERS law firm in Ireland during the summer holidays.

Viktoria Barvinska interned under the supervision of Avril Scally, who is a partner in the Medical Negligence and Personal Injury department at LAVELLE PARTNERS. She specialises in complex medical negligence claims and has extensive experience in areas such as catastrophic and fatal medical negligence injuries, birth injuries and wrongful births resulting from negligence, including cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, cancer misdiagnosis, delayed diagnosis, nerve damage, surgical negligence, etc.
Viktoria Barvinska accompanied various attorneys during court work, performed general office duties, including filing, photocopying and preparing booklets for court, as well as other tasks assigned to her. The student's most memorable experiences were attending court hearings and interacting with lawyers and judges.
During her internship, Viktoria Barvinska also learned about the culture and customs of Ireland.
