WUNU students took part in the Summer School "Democracy and Europe" at the Meissen University
The School of International Communications arranged a chance for students majoring in Business Communications and Translation at B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations to take part in the Summer School at the Meissen University (Germany) from 21 to 26 August 2023. The students attending: Kateryna Shum, Khrystyna Kazmirchuk, Sofia Moisievych, Viktoria Halandiuk, Viktoria Mazurenko, Michelle Dan; they were accompanied by Olga Tsaryk, professor of the department.
Over the course of a week, students and professors from Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and Ukraine came together to share their experience and knowledge, discuss thoughts and ideas, and study the main aspects of democracy and the role of Europe in the modern world. The participants of the Summer School also explored various areas of democracy, political processes, human rights, inclusive society and many other topics.
Joint work and dialogue have broadened horizons and deepened understanding of the issues taking place in different countries of the world and Europe.
