WUNU Rector opened the 12th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems (IDAACS'2023)
The Rector of West Ukrainian National University Oksana Desyatnyuk opened the 12th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems (IDAACS'2023), which is being held at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Germany.'
The main objective of IDAACS 2023 is to provide a forum for state-of-the-art theories, research and visions, networking and high-quality reports on the most advanced theory, technology and applications of intelligent data acquisition and advanced computer systems used in measurement, automation and research in industry and business.
Addressing the audience, prof. Desyatnyuk said: "Honourable participants of the 12th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems: Technology and Applications (IDAACS 2023). In the time of global challenges, dynamic changes and rapid innovation, the international scientific community unites its efforts to ensure high-quality and efficient work in the field of technology, computer and advanced computing systems.
It is gratifying that the conference is attended by scientists from all over the world who are ready to share their experience and present their work, produce new ideas and implement innovative solutions. We would like to thank our co-organisers, the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts and the Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The importance of IDAACS lies in establishing scientific contacts between research groups and scientists from different countries for future joint scientific cooperation.
West Ukrainian National University is committed to strengthening further the strategic partnership between educational institutions and is interested in the widest possible use of the international potential of its scientists."
The opening ceremony was also attended by Oleksandr Palahin, Full Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Daniel Hamburg, Professor at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Uwe Grossmann, Professor at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and Anatoliy Sachenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor at West Ukrainian National University.
As part of IDAACS 2023, participants from 55 countries worked in various sections: "Data Analysis and Modelling", "Intelligent Distributed Systems", "Intelligent Software, Systems and Databases", "Intelligent Computer Technologies for Healthcare and Medicine"; joined special broadcasts on project management and advanced machine learning; honed their skills during the workshop "Projects for Digital Transformation" and the master class "Beyond 5G and 6G. Networks, Technology, and Security"; and communicated within the framework of a special broadcast "Internet of Things for Smart Buildings and Cities".
