Financial Literacy Week is here!
The Financial Literacy Week has started at West Ukrainian National University, launched by the teachers of the S.I. Yuriy Department of Finance of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting. WUNU students have the opportunity to deepen their financial knowledge not only in the course of studying the discipline "Finance" (course leaders are Professor Tetiana Kizyma and Associate Professor Svitlana Koval), but also by joining interactive events.
This year's Financial Literacy Week began with the Financial Battle intellectual game organised by students of the EUB-21 group: Artem Horbatiuk, Yulia Kuzmuk, Viktoria Umnova and Dmytro Fedoriv.
Professor Olha Kyrylenko, Deputy Head of the S. I. Yuriy Department of Finance, and Oksana Kvasnytsia, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, addressed the audience.
Students from the Faculties of Economics and Management and Finance and Accounting took part in the Financial Battle, which was organised into 10 teams.
The competitions organised by the organisers allowed the participants to test their knowledge in various financial areas: budgeting, investments, taxes, and to show their awareness of currencies from around the world. The boys and girls demonstrated erudition, creativity, teamwork, quick thinking and a thorough knowledge of financial literacy.
Participation in the Financial Battle inspired many people to deepen their financial knowledge and share it with their friends and family. The event coordinator, Associate Professor Svitlana Koval, expressed her gratitude to the event organisers for the high level of preparation and creative approach.
