Financial Literacy Week at WUNU!
The Faculty of Finance and Accounting of West Ukrainian National University, as part of the financial literacy activities, organised and held a lecture-discussion for the students of the faculty "Savings. Financial Literacy". Guest lecturer - Oleksandr Sokhatskyi, financial advisor, speaker of the national financial literacy project, financial literacy ambassador of the Deposit Guarantee Fund, regional head of the NGO "Business Club "Partner" Ternopil".
The students practically applied the knowledge gained on the Life Capital game simulator with certified trainers and presenters - Oleksandr Sohatskyi, Svitlana Yatsyshyn, Yaroslav Danylyshyn, Vasyl Turko, Anastasia Sohatska, and Iryna Havryliuk.
The event was organised by the Department of Accounting and Taxation of WUNU. Moderator - PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting and Taxation Svitlana Yatsyshyn.
Three teams of students of the Faculty were able to work out their own models of financial decision-making, learn to manage their own budget responsibly, make profitable and thoughtful financial decisions, and consider complex solutions to the problems of creating personal (family) capital as the basis of financial freedom.
