Cooperation with the Varna University of Management
In order to improve the quality of education and training, a cooperation agreement was signed between West Ukrainian National University and Varna University of Management.
As part of the cooperation, the Rector of WUNU Oksana Desyatnyuk and the Rector of Varna University of Management Todor Radev agreed to organise academic mobility for teachers, researchers and students; participate in internship programmes; develop research programmes and projects; and hold joint scientific conferences, symposia, seminars and summer schools.
"By combining the academic knowledge and experience of our teachers, we will contribute to the internationalisation of Ukraine's higher education system, introduce innovative teaching methods, and create a modern educational environment for the development of science and applied research," said Oksana Desyatnyuk.
The colleagues also discussed the creation of working groups in the following areas: management, economics, marketing, information technology, tourism, and international business.
The meeting was attended by Uliana Koruts (Vice-Rector for International Relations), Andriy Kotsur (Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management), Andriy Kizyma (Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting), Olha Sobko (Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Trade), Olha Kyrylenko (Deputy Head of the S.I. Yuriy Department of Finance), Olena Ptashchenko (Professor of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Trade), and Roman Voloshyn (Associate Professor of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Trade).
