WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 On 21 September, the 13th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies ACIT'2023, co-organised by West Ukrainian National University for the thirteenth year in a row, started in Wroclaw, Poland.

The Rector of WUNU Oksana Desyatnyuk addressed the participants: "Honourable participants of the 13th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies ACIT'2023! In times of global challenges, dynamic changes and rapid innovation, the international scientific community is combining its efforts to ensure high-quality and efficient work in the field of computer information technologies. I wish all participants fruitful discussions, interesting discoveries, and the realisation of all their plans. May your achievements and plans become a driving force in the development of modern computer information technologies!"

The conference brought together scientists from 54 countries who are ready to share their experience and present their work, develop innovative ideas and improve mathematical modelling and computational intelligence, cybersecurity, specialised information and computer systems, artificial intelligence and cognitive systems, information in economics and management, and information technology in education.

Scientists of West Ukrainian National University actively integrate into the global academic space, studying new experience, analysing data and creating new software products. WUNU researchers actively develop and implement information and analytical systems, conduct information campaigns and protect against enemy cyber threats.

Scientists play an integral role in the digital revolution, helping to drive innovation in all areas of life. Their research, development and knowledge form the basis for the sustainable development of modern society. In the future, this role of scientists in the digitalisation process will be extremely important, and they will continue to influence the technological landscape and our society.

This year's ACIT'2023 is organised by the Faculty of Computer Information Technologies of West Ukrainian National University (Ukraine), Wroclaw University of Economics and Business (Poland), Catholic University in Ružomberok (Slovakia), Deggendorf Institute of Technology (Germany), and Institute of Applied Informatics at South Bohemian University (Czech Republic).

The first annual All-Ukrainian School-Seminar for young scientists and students "Advanced Computer Information Technologies" was held in May 2011. It was organised by the Faculty of Computer Information Technologies of West Ukrainian National University and the Association of Computer Information Technology Specialists. In 2017, the 7th ACIT'2017 became an international conference for the first time, bringing together many scientists from around the world.

West Ukrainian National University pays great attention to new educational initiatives to develop IT education and integrate the best international practices in the system of training IT specialists.

This year, the world's scientific elite continues to unite for common goals and progress in various fields of science, expanding research horizons and discussing new approaches and important issues. ACIT'2023 is a scientific platform for discussions and innovative solutions.
