International conference "New Europe"
The international conference "New Europe", organised by the Akademia Wymiaru Sprawiedliwości and the Centre for European Policy Studies with the support of Frontex, took place in Warsaw, Poland.
The event was attended by the Acting Head of the Department of Security and Law Enforcement of the Law Faculty of West Ukrainian National University Ihor Metelskyi, who was the only representative of Ukraine. Ihor Metelskyi delivered a report "European Union towards future expectations and challenges from the perspective of Ukraine and other candidate countries".
Representatives of the UK, Poland, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Ukraine, Turkey, Croatia, and Romania discussed the problems that have arisen in the activities of the European Union and Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine and proposed the main directions for their settlement for the successful and effective functioning of the European community.
Ukraine is not only territorially, but also mentally European, and taking into account the opinions of Ukrainians is an important contribution to the development and shaping of a new Europe!
