Cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences in Šibenik
The Dean of the University of Applied Sciences in Šibenik, Ljubo Runjić, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Croatia in Ukraine, Vitaliy Zapukhliak, and lawyer and consultant Maja Cvitan Grubišin paid a working visit to West Ukrainian National University.
Welcoming the guests, Rector Oksana Desyatnyuk said: "We are pleased to welcome you at West Ukrainian National University. First of all, we thank you for supporting Ukraine throughout the full-scale war. By strengthening our relations, we will implement joint initiatives and projects aimed at improving the quality of education and science and make a joint contribution to the development of our countries!"
The Dean of the Šibenik University of Applied Sciences, Ljubo Runjić, said: "Cooperating with Ukrainian universities, we have the opportunity to exchange views, learn from each other's experience, and improve the educational process."
During the meeting, Oksana Desyatnyuk and Ljubo Runjić signed a cooperation agreement. The colleagues discussed avenues for cooperation between the higher education institutions and agreed to develop project activities and academic mobility, conduct joint international research, and organise conferences, seminars, and workshops.
"I am pleased that West Ukrainian National University is expanding its cooperation framework. This is a great opportunity for the academic community and students of Croatia and Ukraine," said Vitaliy Zapukhlyak, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Croatia in Ukraine.
Vice-Rector for International Relations Uliana Koruts, Vice-Rector for Research Mykola Dyvak, Head of the International Relations Office Yuliia Voytyshyn, Acting Director of the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations Maksym Zhyvko, Professor of the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations Iryna Ivashchuk, and senior assistant of the International Relations Office Volodymyr Sidiaha joined the meeting.
During the working visit, the delegation of the University of Applied Sciences of Šibenik visited the training studio "Diplomatic Residence of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Croatia" and talked to students of the B.D. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations.
