Participation in the international Erasmus+ project BI4SME
Within the framework of the international project "Boosting Business Intelligence Skills for SMEs" (BI4SME) 2021-1-ES01-KA220-VET-000033132, Professor of the Department of Economics and Economic Theory (Faculty of Economics and Management, WUNU), Executive Director of the NGO "Public Synergy", PhD Oleksandr Doluhopolskyi visited the Community Development Institute in Tetovo and the South East European University in Skopje (North Macedonia), where meetings and consultations were held on the development of an integrated platform for mastering business intelligence skills by representatives of small and medium-sized businesses from different European countries.
The project involves the cooperation of experienced IT partners from Cyprus, Greece, Poland, Portugal, North Macedonia and Spain.
Business Intelligence is a set of useful technological tools and practices that facilitate informed decision-making. Businesses that apply scientific, data-driven management methods improve their performance and drive innovation. The BI4SME project aims to democratise Business Intelligence technology to improve the competitiveness of small and medium-sized businesses in European countries.
Professor Oleksandr Doluhopolskyi is responsible for the development of the Big Data Math module, which covers key mathematical concepts to improve data analysis (descriptive statistics, regression models, classification & clustering models). The results of the project will be used in the preparation of business intelligence courses at WUNU and in writing KA2 project applications.
