Participation in the international Erasmus+ project AFID
Within the framework of the international project "Academic Freedom and Inclusion through Digitalisation" (AFID) ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE-LS-101081850, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Economics and Economic Theory of the Faculty of Economics and Management of WUNU, Executive Director of the NGO "Civic Synergy" Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi conducted a series of workshops in English at the University of Alcalá, Spain, "Training on development of inclusive digital educational content".
During the training, participants talked about basics of inclusive education. Barriers for inclusion and role of Online Learning Platforms (OLP) in overcoming them; AFID student: definition of student personas / potential learners. Understanding the student's motivation to use inclusive online courses; immersive University: how to improve collaboration between teachers and students; principles of Universal Design for online courses. Case-studies of online content; methods of inclusive education. Online communication tools. Inclusive presentation of materials at OLP; development of inclusive video lectures at MS Teams; measuring the results of inclusive education. Digital applications.
The AFID project aims to create a Multi-Institutional Inclusive Virtual Campus (MIIVC), where students with various learning disabilities will be able to access high-quality online courses in entrepreneurship, business, and management, which will be delivered asynchronously in an inclusive format. The AFID project seeks to engage and integrate all students in the educational process, especially those who have suffered from discrimination, are temporarily or permanently in unfavourable conditions, have disabilities, special educational needs, etc.
