Development of XR solutions for physical and psychological rehabilitation
The immersive multifunctional hub, which operates at West Ukrainian National University, hosted a working meeting of scientists from WUNU, Ternopil Gorbachevsky National Medical University, representatives of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, and WE/AR Studio to develop XR solutions for physical and psychological rehabilitation.
During the discussion, the Rector of WUNU Oksana Desyatnyuk, Vice-Rector for Research Mykola Dyvak, Advisor to the Head of the RMA on Digitalisation Oleksandr Tereshchenko, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Arkadiy Shulhay, Vice-Rector for Education for Research Ivan Klishch, Head of the Department of Physical Therapy and Physical Education Daria Popovych, Head of WE/AR Studio Daria Pidkova, and Head of Digital Transformation Office Nazar Ivanitskyi discussed the life cycle of XR development, technical capabilities of the hub, integration of XR technologies into the educational process, medical practices and rehabilitation programmes.
All participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in augmented reality and work as a team with demonstration models.
It is gratifying that postgraduate students of West Ukrainian National University and Ternopil Gorbachevsky National Medical University, rehabilitation specialists who will work on joint projects, also took part in the discussion.
