Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Rector of WUNU!
Christmas is a time of appreciation for what we have, a time of remembrance for those we have lost, a time of rediscovery of life values and knowledge of the truth. In the midst of the critical trials of the Ukrainian people, we are united, unbreakable and believe in Ukraine's victory!
As the year comes to an end, let us thank everyone who protects us and stands in defence of Ukraine's borders, integrity, indivisibility and unity of our country. It is thanks to the Ukrainian military that we are able to study, work, take care of our families and make plans.
We are grateful to everyone for their service to the university, for their dedication to the cause and education of our youth, for supporting the Armed Forces, for volunteering, for living in Ukraine, working for Ukraine, and nurturing the future of Ukraine!
Despite all the challenges facing our country, the joy of Christmas fills our hearts with faith, driving away sorrow, pain and grief, and guides us all to the pursuit of justice and sincere prayer for Ukraine.
May the infant Jesus embrace and protect your families with his grace, protect Ukrainian soldiers, and give everyone peaceful hope, joy and spiritual strength.
Let us share love and warmth with our neighbours! Let us open our hearts to the Lord's birth!
Christ is born! Let us praise Him!
