Charity concert "Undefeated Ukraine!"
On the occasion of the Day of Unity of Ukraine, West Ukrainian National University hosted a charity event "Undefeated Ukraine!", organised and performed by the staff of the Office for Liberal Arts and Personal Development of the University together with the Centre for Analytical, Methodological and Logistical Support for the Development of Educational Activities of the Region. The event was organised for children of servicemen.
The celebration was attended by Colonel Ivan Buhay, Director of the Education and Research Centre for the Transition of Military Personnel and War Veterans of WUNU, Volodymyr Boleschuk, First Deputy Chairman of the Ternopil Regional Council, and mothers of the Heroes of Ukraine: Maria Hurniak, Myroslava Pytak, Maria Vityshyn, combatants of the 105th separate territorial defence brigade of the 83rd battalion, volunteer Vasyl Konko, children of servicemen from the Volochysk community of Khmelnytskyi region, Ternopil, Biletska, Pidvolochyska, Skalatska, Hrymailivska, Khorostkivska communities, students of the Ternopil Vocational College with Enhanced Military and Physical Training.
The soloists of the folk theatre (Anastasia Haleshchuk, Iryna Hontash, Ilona Diadio) and the band Kraplynky sang the song "For You" for the guests of the university.
Participants of the New Ject Dance company and the TNG Dance Company performed a modern dance. Members of the artistic ensembles presented poetic compositions "We are our own, we are Ukrainian" and "I do not keep silent when the war is raging". Bohdan Budionkov recited his original poem "Kherson Land". The event was emceed by Oksana Kichak and Yuriy Dzyula.
The children of the servicemen also received gifts from the head of the "Let's help together" charity foundation, Ukrainian MP Andrii Bohdanets.
We are all a big, united family. We are grateful to everyone who gives us the opportunity to study and work today.
May we always remember that Ukraine is united, free and undefeated!
